With the endless options of DIY projects for weddings, parties, home décor and more, we thought it would be fun to start our own little DIY section to the blog. We will be testing out different DIY ideas that can be used for your wedding as well as many other events in your life. We may triumph, and we may fail, but darn it we are going to DIY and test things out for you!
First up on the list DIY paper flowers. Paper flowers are popping up everywhere these days so we thought it’d be great to try our hand at them to see what goes into these little gems. Love me some romance! Nothing beats true love!
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. A recent study shows about 40 percent of engagements happen between the holidays and Valentine’s Day.
And when you get engaged and start wedding planning, one of the most important parts for a bride is finding that perfect wedding dress. Sarah Baumann, the editor in chief of Minnesota Bride Magazine, stopped by the WCCO Saturday Morning show to talk wedding dress shopping and some of the current trends.
Baumann said the red carpet can affect dress shopping trends as we see them on TV and in magazines. The four current trends include the cap sleeve dress, the peplum dress, the lace dress and the mermaid dress.
